We work with developers, contractors and municipalities by providing outreach to communities. We work with people to determine their capacity to work and connect them with employment opportunities. For those who are not capable of working today, we provide social skills training and then connect them to job opportunities. Finally – for those who have greater employment challenges we connect those individuals to our partners who provide hard skills and soft skills training and social services.
Job Success Coaches/Relationship Managers – PCC designates a job success coach to each employed person and a Relationship Manager to each Employer.
Business Counseling and Incubation – Firm Advantage™
We help low-income individuals identify their strengths and counsel them on starting their own business. We also help developers, contractors and municipalities meet and manage their socioeconomic goals. We identify small business that are capable of contracting today connect with contracting opportunities. For those who are not capable today, we provide business advisory services that allows a business to improve their platform and obtain new business. For those who have greater business challenges we connect those businesses with some of our business development agency and non-profit partners.
We provide education in cultural competency, industry-based career opportunities and workplace etiquette.
Cultural Competency Courses – highlight how race, gender and sexuality affect people in the workplace.
Industry-Based Career Opportunities – outline and discuss entry-level opportunities in all industries. Guest speakers discuss their corporations and the responsibilities of specific job opportunities.
